Your itinerary

Day 1: Welcome!

Our shuttle will pick you up at San Jose Airport and take you straight to your hotel in Puerto Viejo. Departure times are at 6 AM or 2 PM, depending on your flight schedule. Duration: 4 hours approx. The rest of the day is yours to explore the suroundings.

Day 2: Activity day.

You will be picked up at your hotel at the appointed time, depending on the activity you have chosen. You will be returned to your hotel at the end of the activity as well.

Day 3: Activity day.

You will be picked up at your hotel at the appointed time, depending on the activity you have chosen. You will be returned to your hotel at the end of the activity as well.

Day 4: Activity day.

You will be picked up at your hotel at the appointed time, depending on the activity you have chosen. You will be returned to your hotel at the end of the activity as well.

Day 5: Hasta luego!

Our shuttle will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Viejo to take you to San Jose Airport. Departure times are at 7 AM or 12:30 PM. Duration: 4 hours approx.

3 in 1 Tour (Jaguar Rescue Center, Chocolate Farm and Waterfall Hike).

Three of our favorite local activities combined. See the Jaguar Animal Rescue Center and interact up close with the animals. Get a tour of a local indigenous family making chocolate and hike to a beautiful waterfall.

Cahuita Snorkeling & Hiking Tour.

Parque Nacional Cahuita has the largest system of Coral Reefs in Costa Rica, including 6 species of coral, a wide range of colorful tropical fishes and the occasional encounter of a harmless reef shark or sting ray.

Pick up: 7:30 AM.

Duration: 4 hours approx.

Punta Uva River & Ocean Kayak Tour.

Easy float trip. You paddle slowly and quietly up the river looking for animals along the way including monkeys, sloths, turtles, Jesus lizards, iguanas and birds. When you can go no further you turn around and float to Punta Uva beach!

Pick up: 8 AM.

Duration: 4 hours approx.

Gandoca Refuge Dolphin & Snorkeling Tour.

Journey from Manzanillo by boat deep into the Gandoca Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge to Monkey Point (Punta Mona). Offshore we will search for 3 different species of dolphin. Then closer to shore we will enjoy some great snorkeling!

Pick up: 9 AM.

Gandoca Refuge Hiking Tour.

From Manzanillo we hike into Gandoca National Wildlife Refuge. Its extraordinary bio-diversity ensures an unforgettable experience.

Jungle Canopy & Zipline Tour.

See the jungle from up in trees and experience the thrill of flying through over 2500 meters of zipline cable.

Pick up: 8:30 AM or 1 PM.

Surf Lesson.

Puerto Viejo is the perfect setting to learn to surf with your friends. Your first lesson starts on the beach where you will learn about safety, form, style and “popping up”. Then we will hit the water to practice, practice, and practice.

Pick up: every hour from 7 AM to 2 PM.

Duration: 2 hours approx.

Horseback Riding in the Jungle.

You will ride on roads, jungle trails, farms, across a river and approach a 44 meter waterfall in Volio. From there you will make the final approach on foot to enjoy pristine waters and climb to the top of the waterfall!

Pick up: 8 AM or 1 PM.
